Aims and Fit of Module

This module aims to introduce the student to the statistical software (SAS), and develop student programming and statistical computing skills. It focuses on using SAS to manipulate data, perform statistical analysis, and create reports.

Learning outcomes

A	Manipulate data sets including entering, reading, writing, and importing Data, preparing data for analysis
B	Produce descriptive statistics with graphics  
C	Conduct statistical analysis and produce reports.

Method of teaching and learning

Module content will be delivered primarily via lab practicals which will be accompanied by suitable lab handouts (will be available on LMO). Tutorials will be given as a platform to address any specific question or issue from individual students.
