Aims and Fit of Module

This module equips students with the basic quantitative transferable skills required for level 1 Chemistry degree programme and general transferable skills with a focus on communication 

Learning outcomes

A.  Perform calculations as required in analytical chemistry and physical chemistry

B. represent data via graphs, particularly straight line graphs, and regression

C. understand general Health & Safety rules

D. name organic and inorganic reagents

E. present, discuss and debate on a chemistry-related topic
