B Discuss, apply and analyze key infectious disease epidemiology methods
C Understand, determine and assess the role of vaccines in infectious disease epidemiology
D evaluate and assess the importance of existing, new and emerging infectious diseases
E Determine the importance of the different modes of transmission of infectious disease and mitigation strategies
Method of teaching and learning
The lectures will be delivered primarily via lecture-based instruction supported by technology and accompanied by appropriate handouts Students will be guided by specific sections of the textbooks, peer-reviewed articles and/or other relevant resource materials.
