Aims and Fit of Module

This module aims to provide students with a good knowledge of both the generality and the unity of game theory. We do this by presenting some of the most important models, solution concepts, and results of game theory and the methodological principles that have guided game theorists to develop these models and solutions. This module will provide insights into any economic, political, or social situation involving individuals with different goals or preferences. It will also enable students to read and understand some frontier economics research published in top academic journals.
