Aims and Fit of Module

The aim of this module is to:


Introduce students to the different education systems in the Asia-Pacific region for a critical comparison for similarities and differences, at the macro, institutional and stakeholder level

Learning outcomes

A.	Critically assess the different education systems within the Asian-Pacific region

B.	Identify strengths and weaknesses of global education policy and practices at a number of levels within the region

C.	Develop and sustain a detailed coherent analysis of the education systems within distinct parts of the Asian-Pacific region

Method of teaching and learning

The teaching sessions are divided into two components: lectures and tutorials/workshops. The mode of delivery can be online, offline, or blended learning. All modes of delivery will be interactive, using a project-based approach where appropriate.
