Aims and Fit of Module
This module explores the science of climate change and global warming, focusing on climate risks and extreme weather risks. Students will study the causes and effects of these risks, as well as strategies to mitigate them. The course will emphasize climate change and risk from an ESG perspective, including climate risk assessment and management, and natural catastrophes in reinsurance finance. Additionally, students will also develop programming skills to visualize and analyze climate datasets.
