Aims and Fit of Module
Aims:
This module aims to develop students’ skills for working within online / offline digital and post-digital networks, including the practical and theoretical skills required for effective design and construction of networked platforms and environments. It also aims to provide a critical and historical context for how and why a practical project is proposed and completed to generate a wider impact.
Objectives:
Students will learn the art of organising public events, including festivals, shows, exhibitions, seminars, workshops… etc for disseminating a culturally-oriented initiative.
Learning outcomes
A Demonstrate a systematic understanding on the applications of online engagement and collaborative digital media environments
B Apply critically the creative and practical design skills in the planning and construction of online / offline environments
C Apply historical and contemporary critical theory
D Develop original ideas and concepts that represent a synthesis of theory and practice
