Aims and Fit of Module
This module aims to give students a sound grounding in research methods at the level necessary to facilitate their undertaking of a research project to meet the requirements of the INS413 International Business and Global Affairs Dissertation module and allow them to use and evaluate research methods in a business environment. Students will understand fundamental issues and methodological tools underlying empirical inquiry in International Business with a view to applying these methods in their projects, including their Master’s dissertation.
This module is an XJTLU AI-enhanced module. Students are equipped with data visualization and analytic skills with the use of AI throughout the semester

Method of teaching and learning
The module will be informed by interactive and application-oriented teaching methods. It will consist of lectures, seminars for learning how to apply quantitative and qualitative research methods with the assistance of software and independent study and research.
