A. Understand State Capitalism in the Chinese context.

C. Know the purpose of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in the economic development of China, and their roles in the past and their future.

D. Identify the impacts of the public sector reforms on citizens' everyday lives.

E. Be aware of the governance and HR changes that have occurred in China.
