Aims
Allow students to develop a knowledge and understanding of the learned process of creativity across a number of disciplines and seek to apply these.


Promote the transferability of creative skills, thought and collaboration in a creative presentation context.

Learning outcomes 
A. Develop new ideas for a creative project demonstrating an understanding of the creative thought process, the content and form of the idea

B. Adopt a creative approach to collaboration and problem solving

C. Demonstrate the potential to work creatively and collaboratively within a short presentation context

Method of teaching and learning 
The module will involve a weekly lecture followed by a 2-hour seminar.
The seminar sessions will see students work with lecture content and a given brief to enhance the creativity of their initial creative ideas and their final collaborative presentations. This will be an assisted delivery module with some sessions delivered by Language Centre tutors, with the aim of assisting students with language/study skills requirements for the module. Students will also be provided with online language/study skills support to help them engage with module content.
