Aims
The module aims to introduce students to the subject of positive psychology. Students will study some of the main topics in positive psychology, and learn about research findings and research methodology.
Learning outcomes 
A Understand concepts related to positive psychology.

B Understand research methods used in positive psychology.

C Explain research findings related to positive psychology.

Method of teaching and learning 
The module will be delivered via a weekly 2-hour lecture, and a weekly 2-hour seminar. These will involve traditional lecturing, and also student discussions and activities to provide opportunities for reflection on, and application of, syllabus topics. Students will also be provided with reading materials and useful websites for self-study of syllabus topics.
