Aims
The approach to managing human resources has changed significantly in China over the last two decades as its transformation from a state-planned economy to a market-oriented economy continues. This module aims to introduce students to the roles and functions associated with human resource management in China. It looks at the foundations of traditional Chinese human resource management practice, and also contemporary topics including analysis of currently under-explored issues such as employment law and regulations.
