Aims
The aim of the module is to provide students with an understanding of the key issues regarding the risk management in supply chains.


The module covers an extensive range of subjects, including supply chain risk management, supply chain design and risks, supply chain security.


The module enables student to: (i) understand the current trends and research topics in supply chain management, (ii) understand and apply a range of tools and techniques relevant to the effective management of supply chain risks, and (iii) obtain an essential understanding on the supply chain security and risks.

A. Use tools and techniques to understand the current trends affecting supply chains

B. Use tools and techniques for identifying and analyzing various risks in supply chains

C. Use tools and techniques to provide advises and approaches on how to create a resilient supply chain.

D. Understand the practical implications and application of supply chain risk management
Method of teaching and learning 
Formal lectures including the use of labs/tutorials to enable the appreciation of technical aspects of operations management and the ability to use the relevant numerical tools and analysis methods.
