Aims and Fit of Module

This module introduce students to the background of insurance and relevant risk management techniques. Students are taught to understand the risk and insurance, risk measuring, insurance mechanism and coverage for insurance contracts. Students are also taught to understand insurance market operations and analysis of insurance coverage for life and non-life  insurance contracts. This module aims to provide  students with a solid background knowledge in insurance.

D. Understand and analyze insurance contracts coverage;
E. Understand and analyze life and non-life insurance contracts;
