This module equips students with the basic quantitative transferable skills required for level 1 Chemistry and Masterials Science degree programme and general transferable skills with a focus on communication

A. Perform calculations as required in analytical chemistry and physical chemistry B. Represent data via graphs, particularly straight line graphs, and regression C. Understand general Health & Safety rules D. Employ transferable digital skills for chemistry and materials science E. Present, discuss and debate on a chemistry- and materials science-related topic
