This module will equip students with an understanding of music studies in the digital age. It will familiarise students with the interplay between music and technology throughout history, to contextualise current and emerging ways in which music is produced, circulated and consumed. By using a variety of conceptual frameworks linked to culture, technology and music, students will investigate music consumption practices enabled by digital media.
