Aims and Fit of Module

The aim of this module is for students to engage in a substantial, self-directed research project culminating in an extended piece of written work. As communication and media studies is a vast field, the dissertation may include topics such as new media, print media, legacy media, advertising or similar. The module will academically support students in creating their thesis and appropriately focusing its contents.

Seminars discussing broader aspects thesis writing; Supervised study and research activities, tutorial support during the writing of the thesis.
