Apply appropriate data methods to answering their research questions or testifying their hypotheses; E. Develop a coherent and well-supported argument through the synthesis of theories and empirical evidence; F. Present a piece of research academically; G. Method of teaching and learning

The student will identify a translation-related research topic, carry out independent research, and present the research both in writing and orally over the course of their final academic year. Obligatory sessions on research and research presentation will be offered during both semesters of the year. Additionally, the student will arrange and have regular supervision exchanges including meetings with their supervisor. Such exchanges constitute tutorial hours and provide opportunities to monitor progress, to discuss feedback on the student’s written work, and to offer advice on research presentation.
