By conducting research and producing analytic drawings and models about architectural objects the students get familiar with the basic representational language of architecture and with the basic communication skills used by architects including reading and generating orthographic projections, physical models and text-based descriptions about architecture. Students learn to study and recognise architectural concepts and their representation in buildings and architectural objects, as well as their representations in drawings and models.
A. Recognise and reproduce basic methods and techniques in visual and written communication in architecture.
· The module will be delivered in Online mode. · The Module will be taught mainly through lectures. · The students train their skills through practicing during private studies. · The students are expected to conduct their own studies and research on architectural projects. · Students will get feedback through a critical review of selected coursework. · Some sessions may be delivered in collaboration with Language Centre tutors, with the aim of assisting students with language and the study skills requirements for the module.
