Aims and Fit of Module

To develop an appreciation and good understanding of modern mobile communication systems and technology

Learning outcomes

A. Demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of modern mobile communication systems and the relevant technology.
B. Apply their knowledge in the analysis and design of mobile systems.
C. Be capable of calculating parameters important to mobile system, such as link budgets.
D. Conceptually design radio communications systems.

Method of teaching and learning

This module will be delivered through a combination of formal lectures and tutorials. Coursework is not normally anonymously marked as staff wish to provide meaningful feedback.
