This module is the main channel and the main position to educate college students about the domestic and international situation, as well as the important policies of the Party and the country. It plays an important role in the ideological and political education of college students. This module explores and adheres to the guidance of Mao Zedong thought, Deng Xiaoping theory and ‘three represents’ important thought, the concept of scientific development, and Xi Jinping thought on the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. As such, the module is closely related to the international and domestic situation, aiming at engaging the contemporary issues and ideological concerns most relevant to students. The module will help students keep up with major current events at home and abroad, to understand the party’s line, principles and policies.
