This module aims to: • Connect principles with the practices of school administration in global education context. • Critique the current research and practices of K-12 administration internationally and locally. • Develop students’ understanding of the important aspects of K-12 administration in multiple settings • Engage students in research on K-12 administration in global education context
A. Understand the key principles, goals, and demands of administrators in K-12 schools in different contexts. B. Critically evaluate current practices of K-12 administration based on empirical evidence. C. Synthesize and interpret research into K-12 administration’s current and potential future impacts D. Synthesize empirical data and theory to develop deeper understanding of current issues and plans to improve the practice of K-12 administration locally and internationally
The teaching sessions are interactive and divided into two components: lectures and tutorials/workshops. The tutorials/workshops will build on the material covered in the lectures.
