Aims and Fit of Module

This module equips students with a critical understanding of the key issues and opportunities associated with digital transformation and strategic management, emphasizing their significance in the modern business landscape, including but not limited to adapting to new technological changes, developing effective strategies to harness the power of new technologies, incorporating new technologies into the development of new ventures. Students will explore essential related theories, models, and frameworks, focusing on how digital technologies and innovations can be integrated into the strategy development process to create competitive advantage and drive business growth.

Method of teaching and learning

The teaching and learning strategy for this module emphasizes an engaging and practical approach designed to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world application of knowledge. Class activities will encompass a blend of interactive lectures, dynamic in-class exercises, and hands-on experiences. These will include case studies, collaborative team discussions, student-led report-back sessions, and impactful project presentations. Adopting a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach and leveraging experiential learning, students will participate in a series of immersive workshops and practical sessions.
