This module will introduce students to advanced knowledge in atmospheric physics and chemistry. Students will also learn applications on air quality modeling and management.
A classify the main physical and chemical processes in the atmosphere
B outline the main sources, sinks, kinematics and transformation of air pollutants
C apply quantitative methods to analyze troposphere processes
D critically analyze present climate change models
E apply common air quality models for air pollution predication and management
Lecture sessions, supported by laboratory sessions.
