Aims and Fit of Module

The aim of this module is to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the core theoretical aspects (and related empirical evidence) of Business Finance. It also provides students with the necessary skills to apply Business Finance approaches to real-world problems

Learning outcomes

A. be able to identify and apply hedging tools and techniques for investment risk management;
B. have a sound understanding of important decisions financial managers make concerning corporate finance;
C. critically analyse the implications of liquidity for asset prices and corporate policies, and vice versa.
