This module builds on the introductory skills, knowledge and understanding learnt in level 1. Working in groups, students will plan, script, produce and crew a studio production of their own devising employing the more sophisticated production skills they learn during their studio contact hours. This may take the form of an entertainment or magazine programme or a drama production.
A Contribute to the development of a TV studio production programme concept; B Demonstrate an understanding of and undertake a key role in TV studio production crew; C Analyse, contextualise and apply theory in order to critique their production process in terms of concepts encountered in both TV Studio Production 1 and TV Studio Production 2.
Practical hands-on workshops, group seminars and production tutorials, practical group project work, written analysis and reflection.
