Aims and Fit of Module

Give students a greater understanding of the theories and principles of post-production. Enable students to experience a range of editing techniques and processes. Help students increase their skill levels and work professionally in order to achieve their creative vision Enable students to demonstrate the ability to critically reflect on their decision making and place it within a historical context.

Learning outcomes

A demonstrate the ability to critically analyse examples of post-production through drawing on critical and theoretical texts; B demonstrate an understanding of the histories, conventions and styles of editing and post production. C undertake a post-production practical project. D apply film language to communicate meaning to audiences
