Aims and Fit of Module

In this course, we aim to dive into what a Digital Talent Ecosystem is, and how you can build one for your organization. Engaging in a talent ecosystem allows the organization to access and leverage a wide variety of talent pools to meet its needs. Boston Consultant Group (BCG) ranks “Talent Ecosystem Management” as 21st priority in the future. In order to be adaptive, companies must address—quickly and seriously—knowledge and skill gaps that are slowing down or impeding strategy. In this course, students will learn about the talent ecosystem integration and evolution framework and how to apply it to create a high-performance and innovative organization utilize creative sources of talent, establishing networks of trusted partners and innovation solutions. This course will explain the components of an effective talent ecosystem for digital upskilling and capability building.

C Employ evolving methods in digital talents ecosystem, and learn how to proactively respond to emerging trends with complexity mindset and sufficient capacity.

Method of teaching and learning

Based on the philosophy of Syntegrative Education, this module’s delivery pattern follows more intensive block teaching, and allows more meaningful contribution from industry partners. This delivery pattern provides space for students to concentrate on completing the problem-based and project-oriented assessments. This module will be delivered through a series of key lectures/seminars. We will discuss the rapidly changing talent pool and examine latest technologies and systems in the field. External experts and industry leaders will be invited as guest speaker to share real world practices and experiences.
