The teaching philosophy of the module adopts the philosophy of Syntegrative Education. This has meant that the teaching delivery pattern allows more meaningful contribution from industry partners. This philosophy is carried through a consultancy-based project for 1 semester. The school has collaborated with various industry partners to provide real-world consulting challenges. Students can either choose from a list of projects provided by industry partners or propose their own based on Semester 3 Work Placement, given it aligns with the module's learning objectives and approved by the school. All projects must align with the aims of the MSc Digital Business programme, learning outcomes of the module and offer a genuine learning experience. The learning & Teaching approach includes: * Consulting Engagement: Hands-on experience working with industry partners to address a specified digital business challenge. * Tutorials: Regular guidance and feedback sessions with the Academic Advisor and industry supervisor. * Reflective Journaling: Students will be expected to complete monthly progress reports and a log book which will be submitted to the Supervisor. Every student will be assigned an academic supervisor for the duration of their placement. This supervisor will: * Provide guidance on applying academic theories to real-world scenarios. * Offer feedback on project progress, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes. * Act as a bridge between the industry partner and the student team, facilitating communication and ensuring the project remains on track.
