Aims and Fit of Module

This module aims to • Equip students with a business-centric understanding of AI, focusing on how technologies solve practical digital business challenges . • Bridge the gap between AI technicality and business strategy, enabling students to translate AI capabilities into measurable business value. • Develop students’ ability to critically evaluate, design, and implement basic AI solutions for digital business contexts, while addressing ethical, regulatory, and organizational constraints. • Prepare students for roles in digital business by emphasizing stakeholder communication and AI-driven decision-making. The module supports the MSc Digital Business’s goal of preparing graduates to lead digital transformation by focusing on AI as a tool for solving business problems, not just a technical discipline.

Learning outcomes

A. Critically evaluate core AI technologies and their relevance to digital business domains. B. Analyze complex digital business problems to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions, considering constraints like data availability and budget. C. Design a end-to-end AI project proposal for a digital business, including scope, methodology, risk assessment, and success metrics. D. Collaborate in cross-functional teams to design AI solutions, negotiating trade-offs between technical feasibility and business needs.

Method of teaching and learning
