The module begins with the theoretical dilemmas of global coordination and the historical trajectory of the global quest for cooperation. The second part focuses on the varieties of institutional arrangements designed by nation-states to tackle global governance issues. Finally, the third part examines new emerging global challenges that demand coordinated policy responses from both nation-states and the broader global community.
