The aim of the module is to provide students with a thorough grounding in theory and practice of SAP (ERP) system. Specific topics include SAP introductions, Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning, warehouse management, Project System, Enterprise Asset Management and Human Capital Management modules in SAP system
A Critically demonstrate understanding of the role that ERP (enterprise resource planning) software plays in supporting the various operations of an organisation B Understand the structure of SAP ERP software and its navigation system. C Systematically learn skills in using the functional modules of the SAP ERP software
A series of lectures and tutorials (computer labs) are pre-organized and delivered. Case studies will be used to support the teaching and learning; A number of textbooks are suggested as supplementary reading and video cases are used to support the lecture material.
