Aims and Fit of Module

This module aims to prepare students to pass the PMP certification exam.

Learning outcomes

A Understand the PMP certificate exam-taking process and the mechanism to maintain the currency of the PMP certificate B Self-assess their capability to pass the real PMP exam through mock exams C Evaluate gaps in the PMP exam and define the action plan to bridge the gaps to further explore project management skills and techniques.

Method of teaching and learning

The tutorials first introduce the prerequisites to apply for PMP certification, the process to take the PMP exam, and maintaining the currency of the PMP certificate. Besides, the module also provides valuable suggestions on how to prepare for and pass the PMP exam. Most of the tutorial time mainly focuses on simulation exam paper explanation. Basically, the PMP mock exam paper is released to students, students practice the mock paper and the teacher will follow the mock papers with questions explanation.
