Aims and Fit of Module

This Year 4 module introduces students to the interdisciplinary field of ecolinguistics, which explores the relationship between language, communication, and the environment. Through a combination of theoretical and practical approaches, students will examine how language shapes our perceptions, beliefs, and behaviors towards the natural world. Students will also explore the role of language in environmental and sustainability efforts. This module aims to develop critical thinking skills and raise awareness about the importance of linguistic choices in addressing environmental challenges.
