The main aims of the module are: To introduce students to the most relevant literature in language assessment, including the concepts of validity and reliability of language tests.
• To familiarize students with some common types of test items and alternative assessment tools.
• To provide students with skills of designing language tests both in paper and in computer mode.
• To provide students with relevant knowledge to critically evaluate language tests and assessment tools.
