To introduce topics in Statistics and to describe and discuss the potential scope of their applications. To describe the scope of the application of these methods.

Learning outcomes

A. Describe statistical data.
B. Use the Binomial, Poisson, Exponential and Normal distributions.
C. Perform simple goodness-of-fit tests.

Method of teaching and learning

This module will be delivered by a combination of formal lectures and tutorials.
