Aims and Fit of Module

To help students acquire mathematical and computational skills in computing facilities and in particular the ability in solving financial related problems numerically. Specially, they will be able to write algorithms and evaluate the computational results using graphical representations.

A. Translate mathematical expressions into computer programming B. Solve mathematical problems with computer programming C. Conduct probability and statistical analysis with financial data D. Analyse data using numeric methods/visualization tools
