Aims and Fit of Module

This module aims to provide an understanding of change and its impact on organisational growth and sustainability. It also emphasizes the role of leadership in change management.

Learning outcomes

Students completing the module successfully should: A. Interpret the concept of organisational development (OD) and its impact on performance and change management; B. Explain change and its impact on organisations; C. Explain the evolution of OD; D. Interpret the role of leadership in change management; E. Evaluate the change management process; F. Assess the effort made through OD to ensure organizational growth.

Method of teaching and learning

This module is delivered on a weekly through a combination of lectures and tutorials. Typically 2 hour lecture and 1 hour tutorial per week.
