The module aims to introduce students’ people-oriented perspective in contemporary project. This includes self-management/reflection and interaction with others. Because of dynamics in contemporary project, meeting project objectives usually means to change people’s mindset and behaviour. How to interact with people effectively is the key challenge faced by many project managers and also critical to project success. This module underpins students understanding of theories of self-management and managing people as well as developing the practical skills facilitating interaction with people in a contemporary project context.

The teaching and learning are action based and enable students to engage with real world cases. Teaching will be organized in different formats such as lecture, seminar, simulation, tutorials and etc. that suit diverse topics.
