Aims and Fit of Module

The Digital Transformation Management and Leadership module aims to equip students with the essential skills to lead business transformation in the digital age. It covers key concepts of digitization, digitalization, and digital transformation, while exploring the drivers behind these changes and the essence of transformation. Students will learn why some digital transformation projects fail and how to address the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution. The course also includes assessing organizational readiness in terms of people, processes, and technologies, focusing on optimizing business processes (including lean and digital processes) and leveraging digital technologies. In practical sessions, students will gain hands-on experience in developing and expanding digital transformation products, covering key steps like project initiation, testing, and iteration. The module also emphasizes digital leadership, team building, and fostering a culture of innovation, preparing students to lead successful digital transformations and drive organizational success.
